Experienced Land Surveyor

The above is required to join the team providing a comprehensive range of site surveying and ground investigation (GI) services, operating across East Anglia, Cambridgeshire and North London.

Responsibilities:

  • Provision of setting out support to a varied range of construction projects to a high standard and efficiency.
  • Undertake topographical surveys.
  • Ensure accurate records of drawings/specifications to ensure the latest revisions are used and available.
  • Production of site sketches to aid discussions with site teams and operatives.
  • Undertake Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) Surveys.

This role is varied and it would be to your advantage if you have experience with any of the following activities:

  • Quality assurance of materials and processes during the construction phase (e.g. concrete pre pour checks).
  • Undertake on-site testing of concrete including cube samples and slump tests.
  • Assist with site investigation works (e.g. plate bearing tests/California Bearing Ratio (CBR) tests).

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Ideally qualified to at least HNC/HND in building/civil engineering (but not essential) with at least two years experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to work in a team environment
  • Willingness to train and extend capabilities
